Course Registration Information:
Northampton County Fire School, in partnership with Northampton Community College, hosts both credit and non-credit courses.  To register for any offered courses, fill out and submit the NCFS Request For Course Registration Form.  Download, print, and complete the NCFS Emergency Services Information Form and the NCFS Waiver and Release From Liability Form. Bring the completed forms with you to the first day of the class.  PLEASE NOTE: If there are more students enrolled than seats available, students registering first will have priority acceptance.

Important Course Information:
In order to enroll in any State Fire Academy courses, the applicant MUST have a certificate from either of the following:
- Fundamentals of Firefighting (This Course No Longer Available)
- Essentials of Firefighting (Replaced by the new Delmar System)
- IST - Introduction to Safety & the Training System (Discontinued)
If you cannot produce a certificate from any of the above courses, you MUST take the first 16 hours of the Delmar Essentials, ELIS "Introduction to the Fire Service" prior to enrolling for any State Fire Academy courses.
In an effort to better serve you, Northampton County Fire School also offers training classes at locations other than the Northampton County Fire School grounds.  The following is the procedure for requesting an off-site classes:
1. Download a request form from the following link

2. Fill out the form and submit it to Rick Weaver,Director, Northampton County Fire School, P.O. Box 56, Bangor, PA 18013
    at least 6 weeks prior to the requested dates.
3. Rick will check for instructor's availability and/or any conflicts with previously scheduled courses.
4. Rick then will schedule your class(es)it with the Northampton Community College Emergency Services Coordinator.
5. If you wish to request a specific instructor, be sure to note that on the application and Rick will determine the availabilty of him/her.
6. Rick will then contact you letting you know if the course has been approved and the Instructor who will be assigned to teach it.
